The Home also ensures the children receive proper health and medical care, transport facilities for essential travel, and adequate clothing and linen. Additionally, children are given opportunities to engage in recreational and social activities that contribute to their emotional and social development.

You can support Supem Niwasa in several meaningful ways. One option is to sponsor meals—such as breakfast, lunch, tea, or dinner—on selected days. You may also choose to make regular pledges on a monthly or yearly basis to help cover the Home’s ongoing needs. Financial contributions, whether one-time or recurring, are always welcome and greatly appreciated. In addition, you can donate items in kind, such as clothing, toiletries, or educational materials, which directly benefit the children. Lastly, if you know of any children between the ages of 8 and 14 who may be in need of special care, you are encouraged to inform the Home for possible admission.

Donations to Supem Niwasa can be made easily through cheque or bank transfer. Cheques should be made payable to The Colombo Home for Mentally Handicapped Children.
